Winter Cardinal Garden Flag

The cardinal is the bird that stays when everything else has flown south, which makes it the right bird for a winter porch. Here a bright red cardinal sits on a pine branch heavy with snow, a few pinecones hang below, and “Let It Snow” is lettered in deep green across the top. There is no Christmas tree or date on it, so it can stay up from the first frost until the crocuses appear.

Choose a size

Garden (12 × 18 in) for a stand in the yard, or House (28 × 40 in) for a porch pole. Stands and poles are not included; the Size Guide compares the two.

A thoughtful winter gift

Many people see a cardinal as a visit from someone they miss. That makes this flag a gentle gift for a grandparent or a friend going through a hard season — with a short note, it says a lot. If you would like care or storage tips for winter, email us and we will help.
